As a Lyft driver, I dictate when my day starts and stops. Some days I don’t drive at all. That’s the best part about it and what we, as drivers, cherish. I can wholeheartedly say that if my flexibility in driving went away, I would no longer continue doing this work. I can imagine many other drivers would follow suit as the majority of drivers in Massachusetts don’t drive full-time. The freedom of choosing when I drive, where I drive and how long I drive is everything to me.
