The flexibility that driving affords is completely vital to my lifestyle and that of many other drivers across the state. Because of my classes and university commitments, I can’t work 9-5, so most jobs don’t work with my schedule. Personally, I would not be able to continue driving if I was forced into being an employee. Being independent and choosing my hours is what allows me to do this work and earn money while getting an education. If we can’t drive on our own terms, I am afraid that many drivers across Massachusetts won’t do this work anymore.
